One of the cleanest, most professional, friendly massage therapists in the region. Maya is a dream, such a brilliant masseuse, highly skilled and ultimately professional. 5 star all the way

I have visited Maya many times for massage and she never fails to impress with her wonderful massage skills. This time i had the hot stones massage, it was on another level. I highly recommend visiting. the deep tissue and hot stone are my favourite.

I have had massages from Maya over many years, firstly when she worked from home and more recently at her new shop - Baan Sabai. I usually visit after a long exhausting day at work and I find both the massage and surroundings very relaxing. The massage room is warm and nicely decorated and as well as giving a good massage Maya is very friendly and speaks good English. Parking is easy. 100% recommend.

I visited Baan Sabai in Gateshead and had a very disappointing experience. Kim, the masseuse, was rude and smelled strongly of her dinner after the massage. I was quoted £50 for deep tissue over the phone but was told it’s £65 after a below-average massage. When questioned, Kim claimed she trains the other girls—hard to believe based on the service. The place is always empty, and the glowing reviews seem completely fakeOwner response
Thank you for your feedback. Im sorry you had a bad experience today, some of your comments will help us do better in the future. However I would like to take this time to clarify that you did requested a strong massage which is £50 this is different to a deep tissue which is £60. We understand your frustration but we feel very disappointed that you would assume that our shop is always empty and that our reviews seem to be fake, both statements are completely inaccurate and inappropriate.
